This Privacy Policy explains how SWFL Bake Tracker collects, uses and protects information.
Information We Collect
- Device location (only with permission)
- Information voluntarily submitted to list a bake stand (such as bakery name, email, days & hours, location, optional Facebook link, and notes)
- Anonymous analytics (Firebase Analytics if enabled)
- Technical information required for app and website functionality
Location Services
Location access is optional.
If enabled, location is used only to:
- Display your current position on the map
- Help sort bake stands by proximity
- Improve the browsing experience
The application continues functioning if location permission is denied.
Bake Stand Submissions
When you submit a bake stand through our website, your details are sent to the app owner for manual review (currently via Formspree email delivery).
Listings are never automatically published.
Payments (Stripe)
To complete a community listing, bakers may pay a monthly contribution through Stripe.
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not collect, store, or have access to your full payment card details on our servers.
Stripe may collect billing information under its own privacy policy. We may receive limited subscriber information from Stripe (such as your name, email, and subscription status) so we can match your payment with your bake stand submission.
Third-Party Services
The application and website may use:
- Firebase
- Google Maps Platform
- Google Places API
- Formspree (for form delivery)
- Stripe (for listing contributions)
- Google AdMob (if enabled)
These services have their own privacy policies.
Advertising
The app may display featured community listings.
If enabled by the owner, Google AdMob advertisements may also be shown.
Data Security
Reasonable safeguards are used to protect submitted information.
However, no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Children
SWFL Bake Tracker is intended for users aged 13 years and older.
Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
